AI tools are employed with much value in automating repetitive activities and releasing time for employees. Clurgo has opened its doors to using AI technology for automating the payroll process. The end result is a tool that was happily embraced by all of our internal subcontractors and associates, not to mention our finance department. Developing the Invoice Uploader allowed us to increase payments on a vast new scale, with the automatic checking of invoices being another new general way of improving productivity and satisfaction.
The Solution
We have developed a high-tech, AI-driven solution for the analysis of text bodies extracted from financial documents our contractors uploaded, in order to validate and process all the data with precision. The system extracts key details given in invoices by contractors and cross-matches them with our data from the timesheet system. The invoices are processed in case no discrepancy has been found by the AI, and those with discrepancies will raise a flag and be further reviewed by human operators. This was incorporated with the help of Google's AI components and the Micronaut framework, enabling us to integrate smoothly with Google Documents and our time-tracking system. The AI is trained with each invoice handled in order to improve in accuracy and gradually reduce the need for human intervention over time.
Results & Benefits
Automated verification and description of 95% of invoices: Using AI technology, so far we have automated invoice verification with almost all incoming invoices, thereby significantly cutting down the requirement of manual checking.
4x Accelerated Payroll Process: By integrating AI with our payroll processing, the in-house contractors' process has now become four times faster, ensuring quick and reliable payments.
