As spring blossoms, it brings with it a wave of enthusiasm and camaraderie among us at Clurgo. This May, our team is gearing up for the annual Ekiden run, a tradition that not only strengthens our team spirit but also reinforces our commitment to charitable causes. Each spring, we endeavor to do something special and charitable, and this year is no exception.

A Look Back at Our CSR Activities

As we prepare for this exciting event, it’s a great time to reflect on our past CSR initiatives that have marked our journey over the years.

December 2019 – Supporting the Children’s Home

Our journey of giving began in December 2019, with a collection drive for a local children’s home. The drive was a heartfelt initiative to ensure that the children had everything they needed for a warm and joyful holiday season.

March-April 2020 – Easter Breakfast with Wolne Miejsce ( eng. Free space) Foundation

In the early days of 2020, we partnered with the Wolne Miejsce Foundation to organize an Easter breakfast for lonely persons. The foundation set up a drive to collect food items necessary for the breakfast. We donated almost 50 kg of food and helped to deliver it.

December 2021 – Diverse Christmas Collections

Our spirit of giving continued into December 2021, with each branch taking part in variable charitable activities. Our Białystok office participated in the Szlachetna Paczka (eng. Noble Gift) program, while in Warsaw, we supported a Home for Single Mothers, each initiative tailored to address the unique needs of the local community.

May-June 2022 – Helping by Kilometers Initiative

In 2022, we launched the Helping by Kilometers initiative on Strava, where we set up a corporate club.

This initiative saw our team members engaging in various sports like running, swimming, walking, cycling, and rollerblading, translating kilometers into donations. By the end of the event, we had accumulated a substantial sum that was donated to a chosen foundation.

May 2023 – #Biegamdobrze – #RunWellGood, Ekiden for a Cause

Continuing our tradition, in May 2023, we participated in the Ekiden run organized by the Warsaw Marathon. We registered through a charity pathway and chose to support the foundation “Rescue for Children with Cancer,” helping to make a significant impact in the lives of those children.

November-December 2022 and 2023 – Szlachetna Paczka Revisited

In the latter months of both 2022 and 2023, we revisited the Szlachetna Paczka initiative, spreading holiday cheer across four branches, reinforcing our commitment to the community during the festive season.
